The Presidential Climate Action Plan

Please Note: The first edition of the PCAP was complete and accurate at the time of publication, however subsequent developments, such as the passage of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007, have rendered some recommendations obsolete. The completed PCAP, to be released in September of 2008, will reflect these developments.

The Presidential Climate Action Project has issued preliminary recommendations on how the next President can take decisive action on climate change in the first 100 days of the new Administration. PCAP will publish its final presidential action plan later this year. We would appreciate your comments and suggestions. This site gives you access to each of the 14 sections in the preliminary plan. Each section has a feature that allows you to enter your comments and to read those submitted by others. Thank you for offering your suggestions.
