The National Leadership Summits   The National Energy Center for Sustainable Communities (NECSC), in partnership with The Johnson Foundation, will hold four leadership summits during 2006-2007 to review the nation's sustainabledevelopment goals in light of global warming, and to build a five-year action plan.
The Climate Group   The ClimateGroup's mission is to catalyze business and government leadership on climate change in order to put the world on track for a low carbon economy.
Alliance for Climate Protection   The Alliance for Climate Protection is undertaking an unprecedented mass persuasion exercise based on scientific facts. Through a new combination of non-partisan alliances with Americans from all walks of life and innovative and far-reaching communication techniques the Alliance will focus on presenting the facts about climate change and its solutions to the general public in an accurate, clear and compelling manner.
Natural Capitolism Solutions   Natural Capitalism Solutions (NCS)' mission is to educate senior decision-makers in business, government and civil society about the principles of sustainability. NCS shows how to restore and further enhance the natural and human capital while increasing prosperity and quality of life. In partnership with leading thinkers and groups, NCS creates innovative, practical tools and implementation strategies for companies, communities and countries.
Focus the Nation   Focus the Nation is coordinating teams of faculty and students at over a thousand colleges, universities and K-12 schools in the United States, to collaboratively engage in a nationwide, interdisciplinary discussion about “Global Warming Solutions for America”.
ICLEI- Local Governments for Sustainability   ICLEI- Local Governments for Sustainability is a membership association of local governments committed to advancing climate protection and sustainable development. Since its inception in 1993, ICLEI has grown to include nearly 1,000 cities in the world, more than 350 of which are in the United States. To help members achieve tangible reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and environmental impacts, ICLEI provides: tools, technical expertise, software training, policy assistance and national and international peer networks.
Clinton Global Initiative   Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), a project of the William J. Clinton Foundation, is a non-partisan catalyst for action, bringing together a community of global leaders to devise and implement innovative solutions to some of the world's most pressing challenges.
Environment America Logo   Enviroment America
We all want clean air, clean water and open spaces. But it takes independent research and tough-minded advocacy to win concrete results for our environment, especially when powerful interests stand in the way of environmental progress. That's the idea behind Environment America. We focus exclusively on protecting America's air, water and open spaces. We speak out and take action at the local, state and national levels to improve the quality of our environment and our lives.
Alliance to Save Energy   The Alliance to Save Energy promotes energy efficiency worldwide to achieve a healthier economy, a cleaner environment, and greater energy security.
The Climate Project   The mission of The Climate Project (TCP) is to increase public awareness of the climate crisis at a grassroots level throughout the United States and abroad. The heart of the Project lies in the commitment, dedication and passion of TCP presenters to educate, encourage and increase dialogue about the climate crisis and its solutions.
National Wildlife Federation   The National Wildlife Foundation's mission is to inspire Americans to protect wildlife for our children's future.
Yale Project on Climate Change   Thirty-nine recommendations for action emerged from the 2005 Yale F&ES Conference on Climate Change While many of the diagnostic insights and actions did gain a significant measure of support, others were the input of smaller groups. They should not be construed as reflecting consensus or sign-off. Rather, actions listed below include a wide range of key ideas without regard to their breadth of support. Apply your own judgment in evaluating their quality, feasibility, and value and help design strategies for implementation.
The Iowa Environmental Council   The Iowa Environmental Council is an alliance of diverse organizations and individuals actively working in public policy to protect Iowa's natural environment for current and future generations
Oberlin College   The Environmental Studies Program at Oberlin College provides an interdisciplinary approach to the study of human interactions with the environment. Of central concern are the impact of technology on natural environments and its implications for human welfare. The program seeks to apply the different perspectives of the humanities, social sciences, biology, and the physical sciences to environmental and natural resource issues. The Oberlin ENVS program is housed in the Adam Joseph Lewis Center for Environmental Studies, one of the first substantially sustainable buildings on a college campus in the country.
David W. Orr   David W. Orr is the Paul Sears Distinguished Professor of Environmental Studies and Politics at Oberlin College and a James Marsh Professor at the University of Vermont.
  HDR, Inc. is one of the world’s largest architecture, engineering and resource management consulting organizations. The firm fills the implementation “gap” between public policy, corporate strategy, and collaborative public-private-partnerships.  HDR has guided more than $25 Billion dollars in successful partnerships and is recognized as a leader in the design of highly engineered “green” buildings including two, LEED-Platinum and a number of Gold and Silver certified buildings.

The Earth Day Network   Earth Day Network is a driving force steering environmental awareness around the world. Through Earth Day Network, activists connect, interact, and impact their communities, and create positive change in local, national, and global policies. Founded by the organizers of the first Earth Day in 1970, Earth Day Network (EDN) promotes environmental citizenship and year round progressive action worldwide.
American Farmland Trust   American Farmland Trust is working to stop the loss of productive farmland and promote farming practices that lead to a healthy environment.
The African American Environmentalist Association   The African American Environmentalist Association, founded in 1985, is an environmental organization dedicated to protecting the environment, enhancing human, animal and plant ecologies, promoting the efficient use of natural resources and increasing African American participation in the environmental movement.

AAEA's main goals are to deliver environmental information and services directly into communities. AAEA works to clean up neighborhoods by implementing toxics education, energy, water and clean air programs. AAEA includes an African American point of view in environmental policy decision-making and resolves environmental racism and injustice issues through the application of practical environmental solutions. We are one of the nation's oldest African American-led environmental organizations. We welcome all races interested in working for improvements in the African American community.
The Carbon Coalition Logo   The Carbon Coalition educates New Hampshire citizens about the local and global impacts of global warming through programs such as the Carbon Coalition Speakers Bureau, and promotes national and local action on climate change solutions through the Town Meeting Campaign and the 2007 Climate Change Conference.
The Sustainable Energy and Economy Network   The Sustainable Energy and Economy Network, a project of the Institute for Policy Studies (Washington, DC) and the Transnational Institute (Amsterdam), works in partnership with citizens groups nationally and globally on environment, human rights and development issues with a particular focus on energy, climate change, environmental justice, gender equity, and economic issues, particularly as these play out in North/South relations.
The Southwest Energy Efficiency Project   The Southwest Energy Efficiency Project. In order to increase energy efficiency, SWEEP collaborates with utilities, state agencies, environmental groups, universities, and other energy efficiency specialists. SWEEP also conducts studies and engages in policy advocacy. SWEEP's main focus is on electricity conservation, but SWEEP intends to address more efficient fuel use and transport issues in the future. SWEEP has projects underway in the following areas:
The Environmental Law and Policy Center   The Environmental Law and Policy Center (ELPC) is the Midwest's leading public interest environmental advocacy organization working to achieve cleaner energy resources and implement sustainable energy strategies, promote innovative and efficient transportation and land use approaches that produce cleaner air and more jobs, and develop sound environmental management practices that conserve natural resources and improve the quality of life in our communities.
Northwest Earth Institute
